On day 2 we were set a fashion challenge around the main building. We were given small compact cameras - which are a lot different to the DSLR's which I'm used to - and we had to go around the building asking people if we could take their photograph and attempting to use composition, colour and fashion in general. When starting this task I struggled quite a bit as I found it hard to ask strangers if I could take their photo but eventually after doing it with a few I managed to get oveer it and come across more confident when asking. Some of the photos I took were quite good but a high majority didn't really capture well due to poor lighting outside (and not knowing how to change the white balance) and not getting pictures in time before the people on the street moved, got embarrased or got restless. Overall I had fun doing this task as by the end, we around and looked at evryone elses work.
