I really enjoyed the lighting workshop as it’s something I’ve never worked with before. It was very interesting to learn about the different types of lights which we could work with. After going through the technicalities about the lights themselves we were given the opportunity to take some photo with each light and see what sort of photos we could produce with each. I liked working with the LED light as I liked the colours it produced; instead of it being a normal yellow fake light it’s more of a white.
The first two photographs basically represent what I was doing throughout the workshop; trying to figure out the best way to shoot, how much light to have on a model and just working out how the light worked. I think the first photo was the most successful as it's a creative composition with the shadow in the background.

The other photo was using the Arri 300w fresnel spot which is a tungsten light. This one created more of an eerie feel to it. I like the way this light creates shadows against the yellow light as it adds a lot of depth into the image.
