My Visual Diary - Plymouth's Architecture

Plymouth has some quite attractive architecture which is something I like to look at due to the lines and structure of the building. When I went out for a drive today, I looked around for some attractive buildings which I could photograph. I found this first building which I thought was truly beautiful, it looks very pure and simple as the columns are very artistic. One thing which went wrong whilst taking this photo was the brightness of the sky behind the building. In one sense it sort of adds a mood to it as it links into what the building is; pure, but then it also looks a bit too much

I took the picture of the building below as it has a lot of straight-line structure which I am a big fan of. I like the contrast between the windows and the rest of the building. I wish when taking the photo I had looked more at the exposure and the way the light was hitting the lens as it is too bright and the edge of the building is slightly faded due to the bad exposure of the sun.
