This afternoon I went for a walk around Devils Point, one of the things which attracts me whilst I'm over there is the water scene. Ever since I was a little girl, I've always watched boats, ships and ferries come in with my parents. When I was waking I saw one of the Brittany Ferries just leaving for a trip. These ferries have always looked attractive in my eyes with the red and blue stripes along the sides. Knowing that there are hundreds of people on a big lump of metal and other materials travelling for hours amazes me.
I took the photo when it was going down the ocean with its side to me so that I could get as much of its detailing as possible. When editing the photo I made the ferry stand out by making it as white as possible and I made the water become a direct contrast.
