Below is a selection of photos I have found either on Google Images or they are ones I have previously worked with in the style I like to work in. I like shape, pattern and lines so I've looked around to find photos which really inspire and influence my photos.

I love the way this photo has a lot of depth in it as it makes it look very effective to the eyes. The pattern of the blocks mixed with the lines throughout the edges creates a bold, statement making shape. I like the colours in this photo as it creates a mood. As well as this, I like the way it's not just a random pattern but instead it's a repetitive pattern. The photo follows leading lines throughout, all going off into the distance. I like how the depth of the photo manages to make the content seem much more positioned and placed.
The photo to the right is something which inspires me an awful lot because I tend to take photos from the same angle. I often look up to building corners and edges to take a photo. The picture below the house roofs is a picture I have taken of a building not far from where I live. Its got a lot of very direct, statement making lines like in the one to the right. I like how the roof edges are all in one parralel line. The same tone, colours and shapes are repeated throughout the whole image which adds depth to the image as well as a deep mood.

This photograph by Tina Modotti is one which I have been looking at and working in the style of for years. It's one which I looked at when studying in high school and the style, shape and colour within it has stuck with me ever since then. I really like the ontrast in the shadows and highlights of the stairs. As some of the lines are wide and bold and others are thin, it creates a huge contrast in colours which stands out to anyone viewing them. I think the way the stairs curve around into the back top left corner is what makes it look so big and deep.
