This afternooon we had a session about self assessing. This was a good chance for us to find out what we are good at and not so confident at. As well as finding out about what we could and couldn't do so well, it also gave us the opportunity to find out what others in the class were good at and what they need help with. We wrote a short list of things on the board with names of who felt confident with them so that we could find out who can help us improve on our weaker points. I thought this was a very good and useful thing to do as we now know where we can go for help. It's been a very useful session as I've now been able to talk to people who can help me improve my skills in specific areas to aid my project.

What I feel I'm good at/confident with

  • Analysis

  • Blogging

What I'm not so confident with

  • Thinking of creative ideas

  • Aperture/shutterspeed/iso etc - manual camera techniques
