The Square - Process Of Abstraction

For todays morning session we have been set a task to use photoshop to create abstract images in a series. Below is the steps in which I took to create my final abstract image. The first photograph is evidently my original image which I then cropped multiple times and saved as seperate images before layering with different opacities.
