The Square - Planning The Shoot

Since the shoot is small still life objects, I didn't see the need in scouting anywhere too fancy to shoot. I'm going to take these photos in my own home using the card in the pictures below as surfaces and backgrounds. I bought these pieces of card from a local Ryman stationary store and found it was a cheap way to make small shooting spaces for myself.
As I have already shot with the lighting I already have at home and found it a success, I'm going to be sticking with that. I have used lightingdiagrams.com as a way to document the setup I'm going to be using when shooting each of the photographs I have planned to take. I have shown these below with each of the photo descriptions beside.

This diagram is for the mascara sticks - the photos will be taken individually and then put together. I'm placing the light to the side and above it quite a lot as it will create shadows.

The diagram to the left is the set up I'm going to be using fo the powder/brush image and the lipstick image. I want the powder images to be to be quite deep and blurred right up close and further into the distance. I'm going to use the same set up for the lipsticks but instead of shooting from straight forward, I will be shooting from above.
As for when I'm doing the shoot, it's more of a case of when I have time to around my currently busy schedule but as it's at home, I can do it almost when I please (obviously sticking to the deadline!). I have already got the products I'm going to be shooting in a little box just so that I could keep them safe from being used and/or broken before shooting!
