This morning we had a short lecture on Photoshop transformation. We went through some of the tools which we could use to make our photographs better. It was very interesting to see what tools we could use if we had a problem with angles, uneven backgrounds which need to be altered to be the same of look correct.

To get to the transform tab you have to click on the layer you want to edit and click the edit tab and hover over the word transform. You will then get a drop down menu which is when you need to decide which tool it is you need to use.

Warp

The warp tool is used to manipulate the way something is formed, you can move points so that they bend in different ways which can be very handy if somethings not looking quite right or looks odd. It can help to create straight lines when something is curved or bent a little bit wrong. The tool is overall a shape changer.

Skew

The skew tool slants objects and images vertically an horizontally which can be used if you need to make a building in line with another etc.

Perspective

The perspective tool makes an image or object follow one point perspective lines. It make the images equal on perspective do that you can have extra/added depth to it.

Distort

The distort tool changes the angle of an item or image from all directions. It goes horizontally, vertically, back in perspective, as well as forward. This tool can be handy if you have take an image but it slants back or to any other direction. This tool would be the one to use as it can change and help the perspective and angle you see it as.
