I really admire this company as they pride themselves on making a fun, adventurous shoot for families across the country. They see multiple families each day and spend a lot of time getting to know characters and getting to know how to get the best family shots. They work with young families as well as older families who have older children etc. The photographers who work for venture are trained in getting people to act comfortable in the studio environment which is the best way to get the shot wanted for each gallery. I chose a few of my favourite shots from their website and saved them for later inspiration. I like the images they produce as they look so natural and just generally happy. It doesn't look like they're staged or worked on but just naturally fun and exciting. I admire the way in which they work as they make anyone feel comfortable and like they can just be themselves instead of acting a certain way.
In my work I am looking to grasp facial expressions in shots just like these. These photographs tell you a story of a fun, adventurous family and I really admire how they can a story across a piece. I'm going to take on board some of the helpful traits of their images such as a natural feel, colourful/bright and fun. I'm going to use all of these techniques to portray certain traits and characteristics.
